Thursday morning my parents made the tough decision to go through on my dad having a bypass surgery. After his pacemaker was put in a few weeks ago he went back for a check up to see how his old stints were and they found a new blockage in his right artery. This one is 80-90% blocked. The doctors have been great, but they put it to him straight.. if he didn't have this surgery he wouldn't make it longer than another 9-15 months. So, although this surgery is risky we believe that God will have his hands over the surgeons that day and that this will be successful and give him a good shot at growing into his old ages.
Other than that I've been helping my mom a lot with the boys and taking care of the house. Things that just make life easier to know that they are done. Sunday we're heading up to Sedona for our family vacation and yes! my dad will be able to go! =) We got the doctors to release him since there was no point in him hanging out there until Thursday when he has his surgery. Although, he won't be enjoying any hot tubs at the resort. ;)
Continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and I'll be back sometime with pictures from our trip. On the list to do is a wine tasting, and "The Sleeping Beauty" ballet! Fun.
