Pinterest

Okay so Pinterest is clearly the new "internet" rage! I am joining a little late in the game, but no doubt, I love it! I haven't really pinned very much yet, but I did learn how to curl my hair using a sock and well... that's all I need to get me hooked on this for the next however many months.


Onto other business. Last night was the cookie exchange with the women and Chirstian K. of ONEcc ONEkids. We had a really good time and some fab cookies! I won "Best Decorated Cookie" award for my Holly cookies (see below). My favorites after taking a bunch home and tasting them again and again, were the white chocolate macadamia nut. I have never been a huge fan, so whoever made those you don good!

You guys probably don't care, but my computer is running really slow right now. It is completely frustrating when I am trying to blog and upload pictures. I am yelling at it. I do that sometimes, yell at things that don't breathe. Typically it's my phone. 


I wanted to share this picture too. Look how flippin cute my neice is! 

Symphony LaRaine will be 6 months old on January 3rd. I can't believe I am 20 years older than her. There goes my shopping buddy. Other cute babies I have been hanging out with: Mia Lynn. HOLY CUTE! This little girl is just adorable and looked super cute in the tutu's from Pout in Pink. My computer keeps freezing which is making it ridiculously hard to finish writing this, ha, SO I guess I'll shut up for now. Don't you worry your pretty little head...I will be back tomorrow with more rants and links to awesome stuff. Goodnight!

Like and Love

Yesterday on the very hot day of July 3rd after JUST falling asleep at 8am. I got a phone call from my sister. It went a little like this ..

Ashly: hey....my water just broke. I'm gonna take a shower

........................Long pause............................

Me: See you in an hour.

We met at the hospital at 9:30 and I will have you know Ashly was a trooper with the contractions! After hours of waiting and a little little nap, and jokes with her fab nurse Tera. It was time for her to push. Within 30 minutes we had a baby! Kyle was crying and Ashly immediately popped some French fries in her mouth from McDonalds.
Symphony LaRaine Harrison was welcomed into the world at 4:37pm weighting 7lbs 2oz and 20 3/4" long. Her Aunt Lyndsy and Aunt Shanee were there to welcome her along with Daddy and Grandma.
I was surprised that after all these months of being so excited I wasn't all that anxious to hold baby. I mostly just wanted to stay by my sister. All in all, yesterday was an amazing day. It was long, cold, and mentally exhausting, but it was good.
