Anybody else make a resolution along the lines of "I'm gonna be healthier". Hand raised, I made the choice to work hard at my health. I'm pretty good at taking care of my body. I know that you have to put good things in. I'm a fan of vitamins and foods that don't come from factories or have chemicals sprayed all over them.
At the same time though, I'm such a hypocrite. As often as you see me with some organic item you will see me with some junk food. As often as I boast about some of the wonderful (for the planet) companies I purchase from, I also buy store brand crap that probably isn't made of the best ingredients.
This year though, I wanted to focus on what I eat. I'm making one week "resolutions", small changes. This week:lots of fruit and vegetables. Absolutely no desserts(my weakness) and no fast food( better for me and my wallet). I'm hoping this one week thing lasts. Not pressuring myself to do a full body make over an give up all the "bad" foods immediately. Slowly, but surely.
Wish me luck because I just gagged on raw broccoli! Best of luck in whatever you're working on in 2013. Or if you've already got off course, it's not too late to retry. =)
