Hey, remember when I had like three nanny gigs and taught ballet? I miss that. And would trade it for the current right now. Maybe not tomorrow, but right now I would. Sigh. It'll all come around again.

Friday Favorites
Hey, Hey, Hey! I haven't done one of these in awhile and I used to be so faithful about it. Oh well, I'm back now. In case your new to my blog scene... Friday Favorites is a little segment about my top 5-10 things from the past week! =) And they are never in order. Because what is ever in order in life?! :)
1. Paper Hearts Ballet. Do I really need to say more?
2. Hands. Because they're awesome and the things we are able to make using just are two hands are awesome. I made a blanket this week and not only is it cute, it meant a lot for me to make it myself.
3. Jana Kramer! She rocks! Please, please, please check out Jana Kramer's music. "Why Ya Wanna?" and "I Won't Give Up" are seriously awesome songs.
4. My little Isabella. Took her on a shopping trip tonight and it was so cute. She's so behaved and I love our conversations.
5. This book. Which I think every adult should read. I'm actually going to pass it off to a friend on Sunday. It's the little reminders you need to be reminded of about life and how hard it can be sometimes.
Have a good weekend guys.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 and all the other Things!
Looking back on this week I actually got a lot of what I needed to get done, done! =) Yay me! Thursday's though are always a special night for me. I get to teach ballet. I must be a good teacher because man, my girls know what they are doing. Tonight I asked them to show me walks on demi-pointe ( olbviously they are not in pointe shoes but they are on thier tippy tippy toes) anyway, I just asked them to do it and half the class remembered. I was shocked seeing as last week was their first class this season. And they are all under 7. Then, I approached little Kiera and told her "Wow, your leaps are awesome!" and in her sassy, Kiera way she was like "Ya, I know. I practice at home". I love that kid!
Besides being a ballet night though it was an especially good night because our missions team at ONEcc had a meeting for trip to Paraguay. We were talking about our fund raiser and I am just so excited to be able to serve the Home of Hope Teen Challenge Women and Children's Center. It's an awesome ministry that pours it's heart out and into woman with issues with substance abuse and it basically gets them back on track with life and teaches them to build a relationship with God. So that's awesome, but not only that my parents worked there and I have always had a heart to volunteer there and now I get to with a team of 10-12 other people. Isn't that great?! Our fundraiser is a 4 hour "Serve-a-thon" it's gonna be really cool.
When my church gets excited about something...We really get excited about something!! I've seen it happen many times and I think this is going to be one of those things. =)
Any-hooooo.......
What I'm getting at is...We can't get it all done in one day, but over time and with help, we will get it done. I probably need to be reminded of this more than any of you, but it's my blog and I can say what I want! =)
Leaving you with this quote...
"You've got to think about the big things while your doing the small things, so that all the small things go in the right direction." - Alvin TofflerNight y'all!

I'm blessed to be supported!
It's no doubt that I have awesome friends and this week and weekend has really showed it!
My studio had our recital Thursday night and with help from Ashley and Katrina it went just great! Friday night I was back at ONEcentral for a Paraguay Missions Meeting. We talked fundraiser and serving and I'm excited for what we have going on. That night Ashley came over for coffee and to chat, though I was in intense pain the whole time and could see she was genuinely concerned, we still had a good talk.
Today was Palm Sunday and the Easter Egg Hunt at ONE Community Church. We had a LOT of fun. At least I know my kiddos did. Sometime during that time I got a text from Arpita (my boss of the job I put in my two weeks for) that said:
I am so glad for friends that support me in what I am doing. We start our new ballet season at my studio on Thursday where I will have 3 new students plus all my returning students. I am very excited. =)
I really like my life sometimes!

"We have made arrangements for kids from tomorrow so you don't have to babysit kids. You can pick up the check for your last 2 days. Good luck, hope you find what you are looking 4."At that moment I could have just lit into the woman about how awful her husband is and how DISGUSTING they live and how DISRESPECTFUL it is to treat a human being that you have hired to watch your children like a servant! And then she threw in the word babysitter.... Excuse me, but I am NOT a babysitter!!!! I am a nanny. One of the most professional one's I know. Why else would I be offered job after job after job? And I did find what I was "looking 4"!! A TEXT are you kidding me?! Oh man.... Thank God for giving me the strength to just shut up and not cuss this woman out. I had a lot of control and simply replied with...
"That's perfect."Because it was. I get to be done with the job that has been making me feel bad about myself and my work, I get to pick up my check, and I get to start a new job that will give me lots of time to work on my studio. So, it's perfect. It took a lot for me to not say anything more than that. Then, my sweet friend Shannon reminded me that we get to have a girls night in celebration of me getting out of this crappy job! YAY! Shannon suggested Indian food, and if I hadn't just got done working for Indians that would be great, but not this time! Haha!
I am so glad for friends that support me in what I am doing. We start our new ballet season at my studio on Thursday where I will have 3 new students plus all my returning students. I am very excited. =)
